Manhasset Bay Yacht Club offers elegant settings for those special occasions in the lives of it's members, member sponsored friends and business associates.


From an intimate birthday dinner for 20 in the appropriately named Trophy Room, to a gala wedding reception for 200 with cocktails on the upper terrace and dancing in the main lounge overlooking beautiful Manhasset Bay. The graceful Colonial Revival style building, with its magical memories of parties past, makes today's parties memorable too. Flexible room arrangements lend themselves to a variety of events. The General Manager and his professional staff works with each host or hostess to devise appetizing menus to meet personal taste and budgets.

Lounge

On the second floor overlooking the bay, is the elegant Georgian room, with French doors opening to a balny for views of the water. With fireplaces at either end, high ceilings, tall windows and colonial-era decorative details, this spacious room can be set up for a wedding or cocktail reception, meeting or dining room.

Bay Room

The glass enclosed, year-round terrace provides near-panoramic views and an informal atmosphere, yet is an efficient venue for meetings and conferences.

Dining Room

Warm and welcoming, this gracious room with its traditional decor, conveniently adjacent to both the Lounge and Bay Room. Decorated with Chippendale furniture, it is suitable for banquets, meetings and mid size parties.

UPPER TERRACE

Off of the Lounge the outdoor terrace can be set up for cocktail or informal dining. It can be used alone or in conjunction with the Lounge or Bay Room.

TROPHY ROOM

Located on the first floor off of the Grill Room, it is decorated with ship models and trophies won by Club members. Pine paneling, captain's chairs and pine tables make it suitable for meals, small meetings and cocktail reception.

TRustees ROOM

For business meetings, client entertainment, offsite planning and company celebrations, we offer state of the art facilities. MBYC recently renovated the "Trustees Room" for small business gatherings. The room is equipped with AV and IT equipment, speaker phone and 55" flat screen TV for video conferencing.

GRILL ROOM & BAR

The Grill Room is open year-round Wednesday through Sunday for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. The room is decorated with half models, member burgees and nautical artwork. The warm wood paneling and large fireplace make it a great place for cocktails and food service.

LOWER TERRACE

Located outside the Grill Room, the Lower Terrace is open for lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday. Enjoy your favorite cocktail or meal over looking the pool and bay. Great sunsets are supplied at no extra charge.
